About Toni Leviste

Philippine Olympian • Pioneer • Becoming

A Legacy in Motion

Toni’s career spans a generation — from representing the Pony Club of the Philippines at just 11 years old in Hong Kong to appearances at the Southeast Asian Games, World Cup Finals, Asian and World Championships, and ultimately, the Olympic Games.

Among the longest-serving national athletes in Philippine sporting history, she has upheld a rare standard of focus and resolve — sustained by consistency and proven at the highest level of competition.

The Trailblazer

A pioneer for Filipino athletes in a non-traditional sport, Toni carried her nation into arenas where it had never stood before.

The Triple Crown Achievement

As a jumper, she became — and remains — the only Southeast Asian rider to compete in equestrian sport’s three most prestigious events: the Olympic Games, the World Championships, and the World Cup Finals, representing the Philippines where the sport is most demanding.

European Grand Prix Win

She made history in 2017 as the first Filipino equestrian to win a CSI Grand Prix in Europe, prevailing against some of the world’s finest riders in Šamorín, Slovakia.

First Filipino Prix St. Georges CDN Win

In 2025, she set a new national benchmark, becoming the first Filipino to win abroad at Prix St. Georges level — marking a rare transition from elite show jumping to international dressage.

Breaking Barriers

Jumping

After years of competing at the top of show jumping, Toni chose to begin again — embracing the technical precision and artistry of dressage.

Dressage

Commanding both the raw power of the jump and the harmonious precision of the dance, she continues to evolve through experience and curiosity, demonstrating that true horsemanship is not confined to a single discipline, but refined by adaptability and a profound partnership with the horse.
